Description
CyclingCeramic bottom brackets are combined with low-friction ceramic bearings that are more durable than standard bearings. The high-quality finish of the bottom brackets enables them to achieve high performance. The
extreme hardness of CyclingCeramic balls results in a bearing life 4 to 5 times longer than that of standard bearings, while the special grease keeps your bearings sealed and protects them from external elements that could impair proper operation.
Silicon nitride balls are used to improve bearing performance. Ceramic balls are lighter, stiffer, smoother, harder and more resistant to corrosion. They require less lubrication and have lower thermal expansion than their steel counterparts. The balls are continuously polished for 45 days to obtain rounder, smoother balls. This reduces the contact surface as much as possible.
