The Shimano RT-MT900 brake rotor was designed and developed on the basis of the successful Ice Tech FREEZA rotors. In the 140 mm and 160 mm versions, which are aimed particularly at road bike and cross-country riders, a weight reduction of 5 and 10 g respectively has been achieved. The 180 mm and 203 mm versions, specially designed for Enduro riders, are characterised by further improved heat dissipation and are, of course, also weight-optimised.
